Pictures from Eurovision in Concert 2011

For the 3rd time Eurovision in Concert was held in Netherlands. The event has become a big promotion happening for the Eurovision-artists. On Saturday 22 out of 43 countries participated. 


 
För 3de året i rad hölls Eurovision in Concert i Holland. Evenemanget har växt och i lördags var 22 av årets 43 länder fanns på plats.

At the evening the concert took place at Club Air in city of Amsterdam
and an event of this dignity requires a lot from the organizers. They have done a great job but were unlucky with the sound system in the club. This should not be blamed on anybody else than the venue.
På kvällen var det konsert på Club AIR inne i centrala Amsterdam
Ett evenemang av denna dignitet kräver en hel del av arrangörerna. De har gjort ett utomordentligt jobb men tyvärr hade de otur med ljudanläggningen i klubblokalen. Något som ägarna till klubben bör lastas för och inte arrangörerna.

During the daytime the international press had the possibility to make interviews with the artists. First at the hotel where the artists stayed and later in the afternoon when we made an excursion to the fishing village Volendam. This is also the home of 3JS - the Dutch representative in ESC this year.

Under dagen fanns det möjlighet för den samlade internationella pressen att intervjua artisterna. Dels på artisthotellet och senare i samband med en utflykt till fiskebyn Volendam. 3JS är Hollands representanter i Eurovision och gruppen kommer från Volendam.

 Sun was shining and gave us a nice spring feeling. The artists smiled willingly towards all the cameras. Here you see Finland's Paradise Oskar and Malta's Glen Vella.
